Ask for a financing application.

General informations

In this page you can apply for a financing  application  for either a mission or a conference.

Deadlines

Depending on whether the application is for a mission or a conference, it should be submitted between 2 and 3 months in advance, see the links below.

Deliberation

The funding applications will be examinated at the beginning of each month by the Steering Committee (SC). The SC will evaluate the quality and scientific content of the application, together with its relevance for the french-italian collaborations that the LYSM wants to favour, and the reasonableness of the financial plan. The decision will be taken after a vote of the SC.

Results

The decisions of the SC are communicated to the applicants as soon as possible, usually in the second half of the month when the demand is examined. The successful applicant is requested either to insert the LYSM logo on the website and poster of the supported conference, or to acknowledge the "financial support of the LIA LYSM AMU CNRS ECM INdAM" in the scientific publications connected with the funded mission.

The Steering Committee (SC) accepts funding applications for conferences in Italy and in France.

Funding applications for conferences starting in month n should be submitted before the last day of month n-3.

In evaluating the application, the SC will take into account both the scientific and financial plans, and the relevance for the french-italian collaborations that the LYSM aims to favor.

The financial plan should include detailed estimates of the travel, accomodation, and living expenses, rent of the venue, etc. Other sources of funding (approved or under examination) should also be indicated.

The total number of participants should be indicated as well.

The french-italian pertinence should be quantified by indicating, e.g., the number of researchers based in France participating and/or speaking at a conference in Italy (or vice versa), and by estimating the total cost for these participants/speakers.
If relevant, please indicate past, present or future french-italian collaborations related to the conference.
