Presentation
The International Research Laboratory (IRL) LYSM "Ypatia Laboratory for Mathematical Sciences" was created on the 10th of December 2021 by the signature of an agreement between the CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) and the INdAM (’Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica).
Its task is to support scientific collaborations in mathematics between France and Italy by funding of scientific missions and cofunding of conferences.
All specialities in Mathematics are eligible under the constraint that it is a collaboration between at least one person working in France with at least one person working in Italy; as far as conference fundings are concerned a french-italian aspect should be present.
Scientific collaborations between young researchers (PhD students, postdoc, maîtres et maîtresses de conférences, chargées de recherches, ricercatori, ...) will have priority.
Its goal is to facilitate scientific exchanges between France and Italy in all fields of mathematics, in particular:
- Algebraic Geometry
- Analysis
- Complex Differential Geometry
- Ergodic Theory & Dynamical systems
- Logic
- Mathematical Physics and Statistical
- Mechanics
- Non Commutative Geometry
- Number theory
- Probability Theory including Interacting
- Particles Systems
Activities
Support for mathematical collaborations and conferences between France and Italy.
